So here we are with year five of our Sunday Six competition and, for the second year in a row, we are indebted to Alan Rogut at Pravets Golf Club for offering our winner, and a lucky companion, a 4 night stay with half board accommodation at the luxurious surroundings of the Riu Pravets Golf & Spa Resort in Bulgaria with the opportunity  to grace the fairways of their 18 hole championship golf course on no less than three occasions.  Located just 45 minutes from Sofia airport, the resort has three restaurants, a fitness centre, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a 3,000 sq.m SPA area. And the golf course is stunning!  Managed by Troon Golf , the parkland-style golf course boasts spectacular views of the local mountains and lake and has hosted the PGA Professional Championship of Europe since 2011.  The par-three eighth hole is the signature hole with its challenging island green. The 9th and the 18th greens are joined in one double green, a well-known feature of the Old Course in St Andrews and the driving range offers a unique experience with its special lighting for dawn or night golfing.

Just like previous years we want you to pick a team of six players you think will perform best on the 2018 European Tour and you can make up to six transfers throughout the year. We will take the latest odds on the Monday before each tournament and place an imaginary £10 each way bet on each of your players. If any of your players finish in the top 6, their imaginary winnings will be added to your team total, and for simplicity, all ties for places will be settled at the full odds.

You can pick any player you like but of course you have to weigh up whether to go with a big gun who will do well in the main events like the majors and the WGCs or a journeyman pro who will tee it up in over 30 tournaments and pick up a steady return? And of course when do you make your six transfers?

All transfers must be notified via email (winners@tipandwin.co.uk) or Twitter (@tipandwin) before a tournament has started and all winnings/losses will carry over for those players transferred out of a team. Again this year double odds will be paid out for the four majors in 2018. The winner will be declared after the closing event of the 2018 European Tour, the DP World Tour Championship in November, and will be the player with the best average profit (total profit divided by total number of bets). Last year’s top 10 below will give you an idea of how this looks.

In addition to our amazing first prize, we have the following goodies for those who finish in the top 6 of our Sunday Six!

1st. 4 night stay at the Riu Pravets Golf & Spa Resort in Bulgaria with 3 rounds of golf for two people sharing a double room with a mountain view room on a half board basis with £200 towards the cost of flights.

Or do the same on Twitter to @tipandwin. Thereafter just sit back and see how your boys perform and, if they’re not, then use your transfers wisely!
